Sorry, had to say it! I’m not kidding, it still does. Pot holes and slow drivers!

Headed back to the homeland last Thursday. The drive home was pretty good. Didn’t seem to take long, plus it was nice and sunny all the way back. On Friday headed out for lunch with some of the old IT crew from the past. Good to see some of them again. Then headed out to the ‘peg on Friday evening.

The wedding was good. It was nice to see the whole family again. Some of which I haven’t seen since before Christmas. There’s some pictures posted in the gallery. Some of which weren’t taken by me and hence the low quality. If some of you reading this have some pics, send them on to me. I’ll be happy to post them up.

It’s amazing that living 2 provinces and 1100 km away from home, the road trips seem to fly by and you actually have things to talk about when you get there. It’s kind of like a mini vacation. But in the end I wanted to come back home. It might be farther and farther between road trips back home now!
The drive home yesterday was excruciating slow. I’m not sure what it was. The cloudy weather all the way or just the fact that I wanted to actually get back home, but I don’t want to do that drive for a while. And no speeding tickets again! Is it me or can you tell I like Calgary and don’t want to leave!
