After the escapade yesterday, I decided to stick close to home for today. Yesterday I had stopped into Home Depot to see what kind of paint I should use for my bedroom. I took a few samples and last night I asked Sarah for her advice. We finally concurred on a dark grey color.

So today I went to Home Depot to buy the paint and start the task of painting the bedroom. While I was waiting for them to make the paint, I noticed a special brush that easily allows you to do corners as well as straight lines along trim and ceilings. I figured for $3 why not give it a try. Well all I can say is this saved soo much time. Instead on hand painting with a normal brush all the way along the ceiling and then around the frames of the windows and doors, you basically take this sponge and effortlessly do it in a matter of seconds. The cats meow is all I have to say.

The whole room took about 2 hours for the first coat and then another hour for the second.

It may be hard to tell from the photo’s but I like it. I’m thinking about painting more of the apartment the same color. At least it’s better then the egg shell white plain paint color before.
