Another week, another dollar.I’m going to miss the Manitoba weather. From about 10°C one week to 32°C the next. This past weekend, starting about Thursday, it’s been insanely hot. Saturday and Sunday, both reached about 30. But there’s nothing better then sitting in the sun on a hot day. Nothing. Something about it just relaxes you.

On Saturday and Sunday I ventured over to my Aunt’s house in Wpg where she has a big pool in the back yard. Basically Saturday, I would just sit in a chair, in the sun, when I became hot, go jump in the pool, and repeat. Very relaxing. On Sunday the whole side of the family came over and a big party ensued. Let’s just say the skin is still a little red. Probably the last time I get to see lots of them till about Christmas, so it was good to see them all.

This week it’s golf on Tuesday for league, and also on Thursday when we’re heading out to Minnedosa for a game with the league. Add on the fact it’s going to warm all week, and we’re in for a good week.

Amy came over the other night and mentioned the old times at BU…well…I found the old backup disk and decided to put them up for everyone to see. They’re all hosted at flickr for everyone to see.

For anybody who doesn’t know, we started one year an annual tradition (which only lasted 2 years) where we would burn our useless BU Notes that we collected over the past year. Most of them was George’s notes, with the infamous blue slips burning nicely. Check out the pictures on the right for more hillarious antics from the BU Burning 2002 edition.

I’ll post the Christmas 2002 ones later as well the final BU Burning - circa 2003 .

It’s good to see Shane back up and running with his temporary site.
