Going back to work after a holiday isn’t really that fun. First when I got back to work, I tried turning on my computer, and disk boot failure…nice

The vacation was a blast and I definately needed the break. We took off from Winnipeg, flying to Toronto for a 3 hour layover. Then it was south to Tampa Bay, Florida. For my first time being on a big plane (yes I know, I haven’t lived much) it was fun.

Spent a couple of days in Orlando. Spent $64.95 on a ticket into SeaWorld, which wasn’t worth the money and the next day we went to Universal Studios and Adventure Island. For both of those was $69.95 which was definately worth the money. Going on the Jurassic Park ride was fun. The best “movie” ride was The Mummy Returns. You basically ride a roller coaster in the dark with ghosts and spiders coming at you. A close second was Shrek-4D which was neat. You literally think the movie is coming right at you.

Also went para-sailing. That was a blast and I recommend it to anybody.

The drive home took about 30 hours. We made it to 2 1/2 days. It went pretty fast considering we were going a minimum of 120 KM/h all the way. With the 3 and 4 lane highways they have in the deeper south, the drive took no time at all.

Pictures have been put up on flickr for your enjoyment. Will also post a few in the blog as well. Took some awesome sunset pictures which turned out really good. I think I’m going to make a photography section sometime soon too as I’m impressed at what I can do with such a small camera.
